BasisPointCalculator.com grew out of countless "what's 25 bps in percent again?" moments while comparing rates, fees, and tiny changes that matter. Everyone had different spreadsheets and shortcuts—so I made a clean, fast calculator that makes bps obvious.
The goal is clarity: type a value and instantly convert bps ⇄ percent ⇄ permille ⇄ decimal, or figure out x bps of any amount (helpful for fees/commissions). No clutter, no sign-up walls—just answers you can trust and double-check.
What I care about
Accuracy first. Conversions and formulas are transparent (e.g., commission = amount × (bps ÷ 10,000)).
Privacy by default. Inputs are handled client-side; you shouldn't need an account to do basic math.
Speed & clarity. Interface stays readable and fast—even on mid-range phones and spotty networks.
Accessibility. Keyboard-friendly controls, sensible focus states, and readable typography are non-negotiable.
